I have applied passport 6 months back, Verification also completed.

But I didn’t receive passport till now,

Unfortunately I lost my acknowledgment card (file ref. no).

If I want to know status of passport, what is the process?

You need to talk to the people that secured your passport.  It may be a hassle but you need good info to be sure you have no problems down the road.

Checking the Status of Your Application

Currently, it is taking 7-10 days for passport applications to be tracked online.   Please allow at least that time before checking the status of your application.

To check the status of your application online you will need:

    * Your last name, including suffixes without punctuations except the hyphen, (for example: Jones III, Patton Jr, Jackson-Smith, O Brien, Mc Queen, Varela Garcia),

    * Date of birth in the following format:  MM/DD/YYYY, and

    * The last four digits of your Social Security Number.
