  1. I've got astigmatism and wore regular contacts for like 2 weeks before i went back to wearing glasses it is the worst feeling they are uncomfortable, halos, itchy, dry, redness, plus you wont be able to see good just do like i did wear glasses save money for Lasik (it is ideal for people with astigmatism) and get a good lasik surg

P.S choose a good lasik doc dont go over someone if he is cheap if the procedure goes wrong it will f your eyes up forever 5 % people who recieved lasik had their eyes f'd up so chose a good doc rather then a cheap one

  2. I have astigmatism, too, and I actually have toric lenses (for astigmatism) and regular ones. My colored lenses are regular ones, and my clear ones are toric. My doc said this is OK, I just don't see quite as "sharp" as I do with my toric ones.

  3. What is your Rx? If the amount of cylinder in your Rx is small (around 1), getting toric lenses is probably not going to deliver enough benefit to justify the cost.

  4. Is ok, but the imagewill not be as sharp and clear as a toric lenses. Often u might get tired and headaches wearing the regular lenses due to the asti. Change to toric lense, sum great one are like soflens toric and purevision toric.

  5. Talk to your doctor.  I have an astigmatism and had problems with vision at night when I had regular contacts.

  6. I have an astigmatism as well and wear regular contacts. I asked my Dr. if I needed special contacts. He said for now, that regular contacts were okay because it is not bad. He said that they would just monitor it at each visit.
