I have these lovely, rich baby blue sheets and a chocolate brown comfortor. I have two pillow cases for each color. I have white carpeting and light oak wood work.

My room is 11x15, upstairs and has two big windows. I'm trying to decide on a nice wall color. Ideas?

  1. Tan or taupe.

  2. You could probably do a baby blue on three walls and a deep chocolate brown on one wall.

  3. Why not do all walls the color of your sheets and prehaps do a  choclate box  frame  with prehaps fluer-de- flores painted in each corner of the boxes. That way you get both colors that have fell in love with. Possibly hang art work in the center of these boxes

  4. I would recomend a baby blue on one wall and the rest white. Add some art work to dress it up and make it look fabulous!

  5. I'd go with a lighter shade of your comforter.

  6. I think a nice very very soft gray would look nice. It sounds like a contempoary theme you have going. Also some light accent colors of burnt orange. Like pillows,, a couple large vases, etc. Keep it clean and open lines.

  7. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a light color like "lab's coat" (# 7158) from their SoftSuede faux finish collection would look absolutely stunning. The color won't detract from the beautiful bedding, but the texture of the suede paint will make it interesting and sophisticated.

You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on Roomvues dot com:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  8. YELLOW A LIGHT YELLOW.

  9. I would say soft yellow, magenta, deep purple, white is very common but it also looks very clean and brigtht. but whatever you do DO NOT PAINT THEN BABY BLUE OR CHOCOLATE BROWN. That way when you want to mix a few things up later on it's easier to work with.

  10. I agree i think taupe for your walls.

    baby blue curtains or valence.

add a framed mirror or pictures and accessories in white, silver, and bronze.

  11. you could do three walls baby blue one wall chocolate brown

or get a cute boarder to tie in the room do chocolate brown under the boarder and baby blue above the boarder :]

  12. Well I think do a light blue since light colors create an illusion of a bigger room
