  4. I found a bottle of TEA TREE face wash at a store in my local mall. It works really well. I have it bad too. The store was called Vitamin World. I hope I helped.

  5. Go to a dermatologist. They will give you prescription medicine and prescription creams. They will also tell you to buy a certain face wash, depending on your degree of "bad" in acne.

  6. SEA BREEZE!!! it is the best stuff ever! i had bad acne too, until i used that. use it every day when you get up and before you go to sleep. Then in a few days or so, your face is clearing up!

  7. try going to you doctor and asking him or her to put you on a low dose antibiotic for a monhs  time,,or even steriods but they hate giving those out to young people

  10. i don't have any acne not even while im on my period.

i use Green Tea and toothpaste any minty fresh tasting tooth paste you just take the tea and toothpaste and bloch the pimples before you go to bed. Dont smear it all the way in just bloch it.

and leave it where the toothpaste you can still see.

It may take a few nights for it to start clearing up it did for me.

Just do it everynight before you go to bed. You can smear i nthe toothpaste during the day if you choose but I rarely do.

    hope I helped.

  11. The active ingredient in Proactive is benzoyl peroxide which is sold at drugstores fore 10 times less than Proactive and has been shown on ABC news show to work just as well.  There are different types of acne and some require medical treatment.

Acne can really affect a person's self-esteem. If it doesn't clear up with benzoyl peroxide, you may need to see a doctor.  Try a doctor trained in family medicine, because they are cheaper and they are trained to treat teenagers and adults with acne.  If his treatment doesn't work, then he can refer you to a dermatologist.

Avoid soaps like Dial and use a mild, unscented soap like Dove.

A doctor could start you on a prescription stronger than proactive benzoyl peroxide, and  could also try some RETIN-A microgel, which is a topical form of ACCUTANE.  If the doctor decides to try Accutane, just remember that it can cause severe depression.  I took accutane when it first came out in the 80's and at that point they didn't know about it being linked to depression, so I didn't know why I felt so sad and would break into tears sometimes.  Luckily it all went away when I got off the medication, but just be forewarned.  It also has some other bad side-effects including SEVERELY dry lips--not your normal thing that clears with chapstick--they crack, peel, and bleed and blister and it can look really gross.  There are some youtube videos about people who tried accutane.   My bones also got very sore.  All that cleared when I went off it, and it was worth all the problems.

See a family doctor and ask him what he /she can do to help you.  You don't want to feel embarrassed about your appearance if there is help out there.
