I have bad spyware (dropspam, hot bar), on my comp. when i try to run anti-spy material i get error messages.?

has anyone had that problem with drop spam and it's 3rd parties. i have a messg. on my desktop saying i have dangerous files and i should get rid of them, but nothing works properly i cant download anti spyware succesfully, or use yahoo's anti-spy. anyone got suggestions?

I know from experience Hot Bar is really bad about it.  Go to download.com, and get Spybot and Ad-aware.  They are both free programs that help get rid of adware, spyware, and things like that.

download avast anti-virus home edition. this helped me, could help you too.

If it cannot be removed, then more than likley it is now in your windows registry and almost impossible to remove, unless you are good enough to remove files in the registry.  You are probably going to have to format and reinstall windows---wish I had an easy solution
