I have baking problems?

i need to find a bank that i have an account in but i don't know how to hind out. I was supposed to have some $ somewere invested but my dad was the only one that knew about it & he passed away before i could ask him so i'm stuck.

Well, you can go to the website for your secretary of state, for your state, and find the unclaimed funds website, and do a search by name.  

But if it's YOUR account, you can just start calling around, and giving them YOUR social security number.  

If it's not under your social - it's not really your account.
