  1. I've swam for 9 years, I am 6'4" and weight 140 lbs. So I don't really know if there is an ideal weight. It will all depend on your body type.

  2. I've swum 7 years, I'm female, and an age group swimmer. I weigh 115. If you are older, or a guy, you should weigh a lot more, though.

  3. i've been swimming for about 7 years too. i'm 14 and i weigh 125 but i do weights twice a week and i swim 7 times a week. (i'm a flyer too) there's no real ideal weight that you should be because theres another girl on my team (same age, schedule, weight training, stroke) and she weighs about 150. you should probably be under 150 though.

  4. I'm 13 n swim 6 days a week im 5 7 n weigh 110 i eat a ton of im not super skinny i wear size 1 pants n some of my friend and their moms think I'm too skinny but most of my friends weigh the same as me but r more like 5 4ish so i guess it just depends on how tall u r n how u approach each of Ur practices

  5. When I swam at age 14  I was 5'7" and 140.  I was a lean AAA butterflier.  I would say you should be between 125 and 135 for optimal performance if you are about 14 and an average height with a good amount of swimming muscle on you.
