The tuition fee is 4900 pounds. How much will the accommodation probably cost? I have also been accepted in Newcastle, tuition fees 4000 pounds. How much of a difference should I expect in terms of money in a year? I will have to find a part-time job. Any differences in paying? How much should I expect?

  1. I'm currently working on my Masters in Sheffield.  I can tell you that England is quite expensive.

Are you planning on staying at a university accommodation or private sector?  Cook for yourself or a meal plan?

My accommodations (through the uni) cost approx. 5,000 pounds for September to June.  I'm moving into private sector housing for the summer costing around 50 pounds a week.  Groceries cost me around 20P a week.

Enquire with the university for a better estimate.  Mine had provided with a vague estimate for living expenses.
