  1. send out your resume to agents and send a ticket to them to come see you perform!!!! Good Luck!!!!

  2. Well, all of your experience in community and regional theater will certainly help.  You will need about $10,000 for either NYC or Los Angeles(which is also a great theater town, even though it is mainly for film).  I can offer suggestions on how to increase your income if you want to write me for them(and no I don't even expect anything).  Beyond that it is just a matter of relocating, waiting about 6 months to take some classes in that market(to get everything up to par of course) and adapt to the city.  New York City is a wonderful place for an actor, just avoid living in the Bronx and on Staten Island if possible.  Start with the Off Broadway shows when you audition and you will soon have the attention of bigger shows.  Unlike Los Angeles, you can usually work with several agents in New York City, so keep that in mind til you find one you like.

  3. Giving out your energy when you perform :) You never know who'll be out in the audience so give every performance your all! :D

  4. Being famous is not the key point... the key point is to be an artist. Just pursue it, keep doing it, perform, perform in any possible play to get seen... You also have to identify a style that you want. A person, group, or company that really make you think "I want to do that". Find a way to practice with their technique (and i said practice, rather than study). practice is finally what will get you on stage in a solid way. Make yourself clear if you want either a JOB or an artistic activity that will make you happy. Being notorious is not necessary being talented, or, even worse, it will make you compromise many ethical things that you might not like to do or act in plays that you dont really like. The commercial circuit not always cross roads with the pure artistic lane, so you have to be focused in what you deeply wish. And remember that acting is not a regular job: it depends heavily on other people's judge (which is out of control) Welcome! Best of luck!

  5. Type up a resume. Have some head shots done and send them into a few agencies. If your resume is as impressive as it sounds, they'll probably call you and have you come audition for them. Then if they want to represent you, they'll try and find you work.

But you have to do this multiple times and don't give up!

Good luck! I know you can do it!
