  1. you only get free prescriptions if you have a maternity exemption card, this will last from you get pregnant till the child is 1 year old after that you will have to pay unless you are unemployed and on benefits


  2. Yes you do!!!! We receive working and child tax credits, all our prescriptions and dental care are for free, you will receive a card through the post!

  3. Spring is right ---as long as your working tax credit award if more than the basic amount (that most peole get), currently 545 per year, then you qualify for all the things listed in spring above. Most of the other answers are varying degress of ill informed tat

  5. No you will only get free prescriptions, nhs dental care if your on a low income beneift. Income support, Jobseekers allowance. and sometimes if you are rewarded the disability or carers element of working tax credit. If you just recieve the basic element it doesnt entitle you to anything more but you may be entitled to help with your childcare if you have any! But thats all that comes with working tax credit its there just there to give people who work but on a low income a bit extra each week. Its another one of the goverment schemes to get people back into work and help people stay in work!
