worse after taking showers. I went to my OBGYN and she stated that it could be a yeast infection. My OBGYN gave me a pill to take,what could it be?

  1. im not sure why you are asking us what it could be. you saw your doc and she told you what the problem is. if the pill she gave you doesnt work, go back and see her. and i would reccomend using an unscented cleanser for when you clean your area in the shower.... if after the shower is when its worse.


  2. Well if you went to your Doctor and they told you that it was a yeast infection then it is. They would be the ones to know. But the stinging and itching and being worse after the shower does sound like one to me. Try after showering and fully drying yourself apply some baby powder in that area and see if that helps with the stinging and itching.


  3. could u be allergic to the soap ur using or if ur using a puff thing to shower it may be time to replace it,but if its an infection it should go away with the pill ur doc gave u...any new meds  

  4. it's probably a yeast infection.  if the pill didn't work, go back.

    well, yeast infections often affect the v****a and v***a.  i don't know what a vaulva is, hunny!
