I have been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism....?

apparently I've had minor hypothyroidism for 10 years and I didn't even notice it. I realize now that the symptoms are not just normal aging, and I'm wondering what differences I'll have when my synthroid will take effect.

once you reach a proper dose(this can take awhile) you'll probably notice that you'll have more energy, can loose weight with proper effort and any skin and hair problems will start to subside. overall you should just feel better again.

I was just diagnosed 3 months ago w/Hypo & have been on Synthroid since.  Most of my extreme tiredness has subsided, but my weight gain has remained! Like the disease itself, I think that your medicine will take some time to work ;)
