  1. I was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago.  I was placed on metformin to help with the cysts.  While that eased the pain with time, it did drop my blood sugar all the time.  It was too much for my system.  I did a year of it and then I stopped it all.  I haven't had much of a problem since.  It seems many women have this problem.  Yes it may make it difficult to conceive but not impossible.  Follow the advice of your doctors, but if you feel the treatment they are using is not write for you don't be afraid to question it.  You know your body better than any doctor.  Good luck to you.

  2. im surprised your doc didnt say it was all in your head and that you had depression, docs are c**p like that, so be happy. you can still conceive dont worry just might take a bit more effort, can have fun trying anyway.

  3. I have a PC OS. In fact I have two. Vista, and windows XP.

  4. What is PC OS?

  5. I am a CCMA

Most women with PCOS do become infertile,, PCOS is brought on sometimes birth control.. PCOS is an insulin related condition that cause cysts ( You do not have to be a diabetic to get PCOS)

Talk to your GYNO about your chances of conceiving once the cyst is removed

  6. My cousin has PCOS and she has just become pregnant after only 5 months of trying, She is about 30 too, so try not to worry, take care of yourself and eat heathily and good luck

  7. PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and affects between 3 and 5% of all women.

It's exact cause is unknown but it does tend to occur in families with a history of diabetes, it is also more of a problem if you are over-weight which is why you have been asked to diet.

There are drugs such as Clomid which your doctor can prescribe which can improve fertility.
