I also have gallstones and gallbladder is going to be removed. I just found out about the collapsed colon after an X-ray on lower back for back pain. I had blood work done for gallbladder and that's how I found out about the elevated protein in blood. The nurse said that the elevated protein was nothing to be concerned about. I have an appointment with a surgeon regarding the collapsed colon and gallbladder. The doctor said they would probably order a colonoscopy. I have a nine month old baby - could this be related to pregnancy. Should I be concerned?
