I don't know but I have a feeling of emptiness and feel really stressed out for no good reason. I don't know if I actually slept the whole night because I can't determine whether I was dreaming or thinking about some random things.

  1. It happens. Sounds like You have the Summer "Doldrums..." You just feel kind of "blah", bleak & unsettled... Fear not. -This seldom lasts more than a couple of weeks. And I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't feeling better by the long Labor Day Weekend!  You'll see...  :)

  2. You ned to stop comparing yourself with others, we all feel good when we measure up well, when we confirm to or exceed the norm, we feel bad when we don't, norms are dangerous measures, accept your own uniqueness and most of these depression will vanish.

  3. There probably is an actual reason for the way you are feeling.  Sometimes it doesn't feel that way because our minds try to protect us from bad things that are hard to face.  Has a major change happened in your life lately?

It can also be caused by a change in what you eat.  Maybe you are missing something that your body needs.  Have you changed your diet lately?

It's totally normal to feel that way from time to time but if it lasts for several weeks it might not be a bad idea to talk it over with a counselor or therapist.

  4. It could be around the time of your period, alot of time girls get sad and depressed and really never know why.

  5. You don't say much about yourself - if you're female then it could be PMT.

  6. You said you had a "Feeling of emptiness"  & "Feel really stressed" for no reason. It could be there is some underlying reason that you are in denial about. Has anything changed in your life recently? Any event or change in medicines, diet, etc. If it's only been a week, it may just be temporary blues, that will go away by themselves. But if it persists, then there may be some issue (emotional or physical) that you need to address.
