  1. I guess you'll tell them you don't want to fly the wheel-equipped Beavers and Single Otters...

  2. lol... look pretty much all pilots start bush pilot... but yea dont listen to that tail dragger ****!!! lol all you need to do is get all the basic licences they teach you in flight schools (Private, Commercial, Twin-IFR, and Floats if you think you'll get a job using floats) dont do more if you wont use it... waste of money... im prbly gonna go up north of canada, Prbly Air Inuit or something. Last time i heard Twin-Otters arent tail draggers lol.

if you want to be a bush pilot (or any pilot for that matter) you have to not do it for the money... certainly not for a bush pilot... im doing it because i love it... flying is like walking for me...

  3. Its much more than just training.

They are a special breed of pilot.

  4. I flew the bush for three years in Idaho. I owned the business. If you don't have taildragger time better get to work. Don't need to fly one though; land it, land it and keep on landing it. Crosswinds, tailwinds, gusty winds whatever. When you can do it in your sleep, you're ready to begin learning about bush flying.
