I have been given the nickname 'Bambi' and hate it. What should I do?

Due to the delicate way I get up off the ground after smashing 3 Tongans in rugby, the team has given me the nickname 'Bambi'. I think it is a bit girly for a rugby player. What do you think?

Sounds a bit dodgy that you'd get up shakily after "smashing 3 tongans".  I suspect you got absolutely whooped by one and got up groggy and now you're embarassed.  Chin up Bambi and next  time, try side stepping him.

My Dearest Bambi-

Sorry deer, you don't get to pick your own nickname.  This is rugby, not a tea party.  its a lot better than a lot of the names i've heard or given people.  and at least it can be repeated infront of women and your mom!  Love it, live it... you ARE Bambi.  It could be worse.  Thumper would have been a cooler name... but thats for your rookie friend that actually tackles and is tough!  "Thump-her?  i hardly know her"... "you Thump-her... you brought her!"  oh it would be a better name for sure!

Mate.... the nickname is going to stick. How do i know that? It's simple..... you really dislike the name and have probably made a big deal about it.

Your teammates would have seen the reaction on your face after the first time they called you Bambi. After this moment you pretty much sealed your new nickname.

A tip.... embrace the nickname, call yourself bambi, convince everyone and yourself that you love being called bambi and eventually it will get old. The only reason people will call you bambi is because they know you don't like it and it gets on your nerves.

you know its against the law to play rugby against an under 10yrs rugby team especially smashing 3 little tongan boys  when your over the age but if you playing against Adults {like yourself } the only conclusion i can come to is that you must be Samoan and only a Samoan can smash 4 Tongans.Heres a nickname for you."Octomus Prime"..
