I am not constipated it seems like i go all the time. It is a good amount of bleeding when i go. Just wondering if any of these could be related. My doctor has done tests but i will not get them back soon. And my urine is bright yellow. Please no rude answers. I am grossed out by even asking. thanks

  1. I am not the kind of doctor that helps people, but here goes:   The color of your stool is generally brown because of the bile which contains bilirubin, a by product of the break-down of your red blood cells.  This might indicate some problem with your liver function.  Blood in stools if it is bright red might indicate hemorrhoids which are a result of current or past constipation. Menstrual cycle problems?  Perhaps you are pregnant or in menopause?   I guess your doctor doesn't want to commit himself to a diagnosis until the tests are back. Smart doctor.  Sorry if this isn't more reassuring.

  2. The stools are white because they contain fats which your body is not digesting properly. Have you noticed if they float rather than sink into the pan? If so,then blood and stools issues could very well be related - I think you are probably starting with a thyroid problem. These were my exact symptoms. When tests came back it was a hyperactive thyroid problem. (overactive). If your weight is falling too this would also be a symptom. I took a radioactive capsule to sort thyroid out - May last year. Been great ever since.

Yellow urine could also be related or it could be a uti. (urinary tract infection). If not thyroid then Antibiotics should sort this out.

Best wishes for a speedy sorting out of these problems. UK
