  1. Oh you mean that stage Irish from Disney films?  Well top of the mornin to ye Sir and to be sure to be sure I might add ... Oh I'll have to put Darby O Gil on again - give me a minute. LOL

  2. Maybe its because youve not been in a 1940s film yet. tee hee.

  3. sound sound

  4. “They’re always after ‘me Lucky Charms!”

    (sorry couldn't help myself)

    LOL

  5. You mean to tell me that nobody in Ireland says that?!?! Well, now I have to go and cancel my travel plans there, lol. It is sad that countries are held to such stereotypes....like the thatched cottages with the patch of shamrock and the old guy carrying the shillelagh and dancin' a foin jig...  Those of us in

Appalachia must deal with it too... I'm sorry.

  6. We don't say that hear.

  7. this is fictional talk ,i am a scouser and i have never heard anybody say what Cilla Black say's a lorra loorra lafs ,this is all c**p talk

  8. be jaysus you must be disappointed, stop spreading the truth about us, we want everyone to think Darby O'Guill and the little people is true.

  9. Could it be because none of us say it over here?

Only retarded actors in American films, attempting to act Irish say stuff like that.

Assuming your English: Do you police go around saying "Ello ello, what's all this then?"

  10. You are in the wrong country you need to travel to oirland on a  magical carriage driven Fionn Mac Cool himself pulled by a team of leprecauns

    ooh tata ta tata taaaaa

  11. You've discovered our best kept secret!

Those expressions are just to draw the tourists!!

    Thanks for the giggle though!!

  12. your in the wrong county (lol)

  13. no-one says that only in films

  14. Have you seen any leprechauns yet?

  15. lol, when my boyfriend moved over here (belfast) he made our housemates keep saying that cos he realised otherwise he'd never hear it said in an irish accent! I have heard people say 'so it is' (eg, 'aye its still raining so it is') at the end of ALOT of sentences though!

  16. im irish and never have i uttered those words!no-one,anywhere in ireland says that!and the first person i hear saying that will be slain by my own fair skinned hands!and no,i dont have red hair and green eyes!!!!

  17. LOL! have a star on me

  18. I used to go to Ireland a lot and I never heard anyone say those things either, I used to go to Donegal and Leitrim.

  19. no one ever says that here. and there are no such thing as leprechauns either before you get too excited.

  20. no. These phases are long out dated. you are more likely to hear saying like: how's it going, what about you. It annoys me that in Ireland we are only protrayed to saying, top of the moring and to be sure. Hope this answers your question.
