I have been in Ireland since September last year and would love to meet a female,can anyone suggest anything?

I am currently living in county waterford and I just want to meet people but they seem to be put off my english accent ? Could that be the case. I am not one of those loud Essex boys with about as much sophisication as a shammy leather. I am just a quiet dude.

Get off the computer, get out of the house, and talk to some women. Start by saying HI! just walking down the street, at the store, in church, everywhere you go. You will be amazed at how many conversations get started this way. Once your talking the hard part is done and you take it from there.

Im from Waterford too! I definatly dont suggest meeting someone out in a pub/out in town ... its not the right place for what you are looking for ! you should email that other Waterford girl (sorry im taken!) hope you two have fun !!;)

Live and be happy.  People are attracted to happy people.  Find public activities to get involved in and just get out and enjoy yourself.  She will find you.

Why would your "English" accent put anyone off?

Get get yourself out and about and start conversations - you'll find yourself making friends.

God i would have thought the English accent would have them Waterford ones crawling all over ya lol. Waterfords a great city for getting out and meeting people. Head down to the clubs some evening and i bet you'll be the centre of attention

go out and socialise in the pub or go clubbing.  Why would they be put off by ur accent? I doubt it -  more likely the other way round.  Love the english accent !!

You Will meet a woman soon. You don't need to put off your accent or put on a new one. A good woman Will like you for who you are.

I recommend you to go out more, to pubs, discos, night clubs etc. Try speed dating. Don't do anything stupid like putting an add in the newspaper! LOL
