I to was in the Army for 8 years, it took me awhile to find something worth have a job over.

Tyr to find something close to your mos, for a rapid movement up the chain.  That is what i am doing.

If you have an HGV licence, or can get one, you will find plenty of work at Immingham/Grimsby/Scunthorpe.

The licensed trade is another avenue open to you. There are plenty of jobs for pub managers available in Scunthorpe.

How about becoming a Traffic Warden. Everybody will hate you, but think of the pleasure you will get from sticking a ticket on the windscreen of a disabled pensioner who put her blue badge upside down. No, not a good idea. No one is that cruel!.

Try the supermarkets for trainee manager positions. Aldi are looking and the pay is £35k. Sainsbury's offer similar salaries and great opportunities.

Fancy driving a train?. Good money, free travel for you and the family. There is a depot in the N E Lincs area.

Become a Driving Instructor. £30K a year and plenty of perks like a new car and discounts from garages on replacements.

Retrain and become a nurse, either general or psychiatric. Good money when you work in places like Rampton Hospital.
