i have been a resident alien for 10 yrs and i have been back to my country twice last year and again in this yr. will it affect my application? how long will it take for me to be a citizen?

  1. Provided your trips were less than six months each, they will have no impact on your application.  As to how long it will take?  No one can predict.  Depending on where you live and your nationality, it can take anywhere from six months to over two years.

    Nobody can predict the processing times these days. It could be processed all within 8-10 months or 1-3 years.
