I have been married to a Canadian for over a year now and still have probs getting work?

I can not afford to gat a work permit because i can not get a full time job is there a quick fix as i need to start earning money otherwise i may have to go back to England to earn the money

  1. As already stated, you are eligible to apply for permanent resident status in Canada if you are married to a Canadian so what gives?  You will be able to work in Canada if you have permanent resident status.  Problem solved.

    It is illegal to work in Canada without legal status so I don't advise trying that.  I had to stay living in the US while my husband stayed in Canada  during the immigration process so I understand your situation.  You can fix it though you will be able to remain and work in Canada permanently.

  2. If you work in Canada without a work permit, you are breaking the law, and face immediate deportation. WORKING FOR CASH IS ILLEGAL!  It's not that hard or expensive to acquire a work permit legally. If you are married to a Canadian Citizen you should apply for permanent residency as soon as possible.

  3. I'm Canadian in UK?I have  problem getting full time job here in UK, and I may have to go back to Canada?
