  1. Try the expo in the UK coming up soon

They are recruiting people just like you and with the right company - sponsor you.

Has this 'job offer' offered you to help with visas etc?

Are you under the age limit for immigrating to Australia (45)?

Immigration are there at the EXPO to answer all questions and job offers are in place .....etc...

    see http://www.expo-australia.com

Skilled workers attending an expo can:

    - meet Australian employers who have skill shortages

    - talk to State and Territory governments who want to recruit skilled workers

    - find out more about migrating independently to Australia

    - listen to presentations on topics, such as the Employer Sponsored Schemes, the Skill Matching Database, General Skilled Migration and Skills Recognition.

Civil Engineers (and other engineers) are on the Australia skilled shortage list http://www.workingin-australia.com/info/...  a plus for you, makes it easier for points, Skilled migrant visa etc....

..sounds like you need to do a wee bit more research to get the best deal.

    Good Luck !

  2. You need to see if you qualify for a work visa.you can see online if you qualify. If you don't have a skill they require it could be difficult

  3. Hi Charlie t,

they are always looking for skilled workers and dont see any problem of you being accepted i have a friend who was a sister here at my local surgery and she went over and has not regretted it once she says its a great life think of the the best for your family discuss it with them and if they say yes then go for it i would if it was me its a better life and wonderfull for the kids

  4. sounds like you are just the type of person they are crying out for.  You need to apply for a visa to work there.  You are not allowed to work for yourself for i think its 3 months.

The housing is about the same price as here but you get more for your money then you get here.  Cost of living is a bit higher and wages are a bit lower but overall standard of living is much better,

if i was younger i would definately be thinking of doing it myself.  You go for it i am sure your whole family will be much better of emotionally...
