I have been on Duphaston for 10 days. After stopping taking it by 2 days I had spotting, can I be pregnant?

I have been taking duphaston from day 15 to 24 of my cycle after I was having short luteal phase (spotting 3-4 days before AF). 2 days after I sopped taking it, I noticed brownish spotting (it's now day 3 of the spotting)..this co-incide with my AF due day.I tested for pregnancy 1 day before the spotting, it came negative. I thought duphaston is supposed to regulate your AF...but, if I m not pregnant, it looked as if it didn't have any effect?? did anyone experience smth similar?

duphaston is also used to help women menstruate. but it is safe for pregnant or not. if you're pregnant, it will just continue, and if not, you'll menstruate.
