  1. Take it with food.

  2. call your doctor and tell him, he can order a different medication if you are thinking the zoloft is causing your nausea.

  3. This is a side effect of Zoloft, along with dry mouth, diarrhea, changes in appetite and weight.

Usually, Zoloft can take up to 4 weeks before you feel any improvement. It should be taken with water and can be taken with or without food.

in your symptoms in regards to why it was prescribed for you. Most of these less serious side effects will stop once your body gets used to the medication.

But, extreme nausea, would be a reason to contact your Doc that prescribed the medication. There are other medications available.

I hope that this is helpful.

  4. That can be a side effect. Let your doctor know right away. There are other medications you can try.

  5. Wow.  Usually after two weeks (IF you are on the same dose for two weeks) the nausea will go away.

If you are only taking it once daily, you could take your pill before bed.  Otherwise, you may need to talk with your doc to see about another med.  (I doubt you are drinking grapefruit juice or anything that would cause an interaction?)
