  1. Steroids usually cause people to gain weight, but it's water weight. However, if you are eating a lot more than usual, then you probably won't lose the weight naturally after you stop taking it.

You may want to exercise a little more to make up for the food you are eating, or try to substitute the bad foods for good ( empty calories and fat) such as fruits and veggies.. this way you can eat without the worry of gaining weight.

  2. YES! Makes you feel you swallowed a vacuum don't it! or was it a elephant!

I've been there and I lost it!

  3. If you're serious about losing weight you MUST try Acai Berry! I first heard about on Oprah, and I ordered a 14-day FREE trial from this site. I've already lost some weight and I've got tons more energy.

  4. Prednisone causes the body to retain sodium (salt) and lose potassium. This combination can result in fluid retention, weight gain, and bloating. Measures that can be used to avoid fluid retention in the first place are eating a reduced sodium diet and increasing potassium intake through potassium-rich foods (such as bananas, cantaloupe, grapefruit, and lima beans).

When you stop taking the drug, you are less likely to have fluid retention but it doesn't necessarily mean you'd lose weight. There are other factors, as highfivetoday said, like appetite, diet, etc. The best way to lose weight, however, is still through a healthy lifestyle: reducing calorie consumption and getting regular exercise. Weight loss should be slow and steady to give the best chance of losing the pounds permanently.
