I have been on the pill for 6 years, and we want a kid. how long till i can get pregnant?

As long as its not seasonal or some similar thing, a couple months is all it takes. Some people get pregnant the first month.

It changes for everybody.

I was on the pill for at least 5 years, then stoped taking it and became pregnant the next month.

My cousin do took a year to get pregnant (under similar circumstances). She was starting to get worried after the first 5 month, went to the doctor and she told her that it's perfectly normal not to conceive for up to a year, after being on the pill for a few years.

So, it's different for everybody.
