I have been paying emergency tax since april last year how do i get this back?

i think i have been paying too much tax because my company gave me a temp tax number when i came ( i didnt have a N.I number and had never paid tax before) how do i go about getting the tax back? if i can.........

just get the number to ur local tax office, u should be able to get that from here, im not sure about not havin an ni number, but i paid emergency tax because i didnt fill in the proper tax form, when i called the tax office they sent the proper form out to myself which im sure they will do for urself and that should get it sorted out for you, im sure that u will get all the extra tax back you have paid, u will at least start paying the correct tax amount.
