I have been playing poker and sports betting since Feb. 2005. Do I put that on my resume?

I hate saying its a profession, but honestly thats what has been paying my bills

  1. No! It may indicate you have an addiction and you do NOT want that being conveyed to your potential employer. Besides, it's just a hobby. Unless it provides some necessary or beneficial skills to your position, it's just about as relevant to them as the fact that you use pillows when you sleep or that you jog in the morning.


  2. I guess it depends on the job that you are applying for, but some people look at it like a hobby, so a job prob wouldnt care to see that you gamble, unless maybe its professional.
