I have been running 3 times a week. I find my legs are bigger and pants are tighter. Help!!!?

  1. you are growing muscle believe it or not. that thing that u described is a recipefor muscle expansion


  2. If you have been running alot it is only natural that your legs are going to begin to build muscle.  The tighter pants could be because you are eating more calories to compensate for being tired from running.  Try to lower your calorie intake.

  3. Your body is possibly not used to the ' running ' routine . It should go away soon .

  4. Firstly, those are long distances to start running 3 times a week! 5 miles!

    How long have you been running? It's highly unlikely you've built muscle that makes your trousers tight - it's more likely they'll feel loose with muscle gain unless you were very, very skinny, had no fat and wore drainpipe trousers and now eat much more!

  6. Haha. If you want your legs to be smaller (weaker) then stop running.
