i eat enough to fuel me and it i am not going anorexic (by far) i just heard a horrifying story once about a girl who trained really heavily and ate less so she lost a lot of weight and ended up in the hospital. so i want to make sure im eating healthily.

  1. I think it depends on the person. For me, the more I run, the more I eat. If you're still not certain, go see a doctor. By the way, I think the girl in the story forced herself to go on diet [unless eating less became a habit of hers, like you].

  2. in general the more you run the more calories your body needs. are you eating higher calorie/carb foods, just less "junk"? could you subconsciously be talking yourself into eating less in your efforts to lose weight? I don't have enough spare cash and tme to see a nutritionist but I talk about my diet/nutrition with my primary care provider and she is very knowledgable about what I should be eating. I would recommend that.

  3. well same thing happens to me. when i start training more i get use to the amount of energy in my body. so i think whats happening is your bodys getting used to how much you eat and therefore needing less to do the same activities
