I was told by the school district, there are sites that have this information and material available for free. Every site says their material is free and then all of a sudden you have to become a member. If anyone knows a good site, I would really appreciate some direction, for grade school material. Thanks in advance for any help.

  1. Eduplace.com has some

  2. try http://www.mathslice.com

Kids are going to enjoy online math games, vocabulary games and you can print worksheets - everything is free

  3. You could also try dltk.com.

  4. There are so many sites and there are also local organizations.  When I first started homeschooling I also had a hard time getting information but years later I still find new things out there.  I have included some links.  I hope they help.

  5. The absolute best, in my humble opinion, is learnnc!  You can get everything from lesson plans,(with correlating worksheets), to their collected "Best of the Web."   LEARNNC is a division of The University of North Carolina's (at Chapel Hill) School of Education.  UNC-CH is the #28 university, nationwide.

    http://www.learnnc.org/       TOTALLY FREE

Here's a few more for great worksheets, lesson plans, activities:

    http://www.kidzone.ws/  TOTALLY FREE

    http://www.abcteach.com/

    http://www.schoolexpress.com/

    http://www.edhelper.com/

    http://www.softschools.com/   TOTALLY FREE

    http://www.tlsbooks.com/   TOTALLY FREE

    http://www.lessonplanspage.com/  TOTALLY FREE

...but learnnc is still my favorite!  :)
