I have been seeing things about georgia joining nato monday. true?

I want to know if this is real. I have seen places on the internet saying that Georgia is attempting to join NATO again Monday, the 11th of August. If this is true, all h**l will break lose.

If NATO is stupid enough to accept as a member a country that a) was once part of the empire they were formed to protect themselves against, and b) currently in a serious shooting war, then they are as foolish as an insurance company writing a policy on a burning building.

If they're going to do that, why bother to have Georgia join, just declare War on Russia and cut to the chase.

AND WE BACK IT COMPLETELY. I THINK WE WANT TO TICK OFF THE RUSSIANS FOR HAVING TRIED TO PUT NUCLEAR WEAPONS IN CUBA DURING KENNEDY'S ADMINISTRATION.
