i had 8 days of spotting and doctor said nothing was wrong

Everyone spots between periods from time to time it's perfectly normal.  It's just part of the wonderment of being a woman and having a period!!!  Don't worry though - you only have to have it for the next 40 - 45 years. =>

its normal for spotting before and after your period.if youre really worried you can check with a doctor to make sure.

and Candace-was she even talking about tubes?

Your tubs might be coming untied or you may have had a tube pregnancy and it aborted itself.
