I am very depressed and don't have the energy to get out of bed.I am just sleeping and dreaming. My house is a total mess.I have decided to kill myself but don't know how.?If I take pills ,I will have to get up and go and buy them.I have lost my family to death,so no one will miss me.Even in this three weeks no one called or knocked on the door.I'm just really sad and tired.

  1. You are how old? I'm sure you have alot to live for. Get your *** out of bed, jump in the shower , have some coffee and toast.Take a walk and look around you and ask yourself: Is there anything I would miss, the bright sunshine, the sound of children playing, dogs barking and having your legs just to take that walk.Hey we all get down in the dumps in life but we always bounce back.Whatever it is that has you this depressed will pass too. If not, please call someone to get help with the way you feel. Don't do anything foolish.Think first.

  2. Read this first:  http://www.metanoia.org/suicide/

You have to work at relationships.  I've learned this the hard way too.  People don't just want to be your friend, you have to give them a reason to.

Don't kill yourself.  You wont feel any better if you do...  you wont feel anything and if you're religious you'll go to h**l.

Do you have a job?  Go to it!  Take care of yourself.  Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

    Happiness isn't free.

    Life can be amazing

  3. ok well before you kill yourself

go take a walk and don't come back to your house until you're feeling better

ask your self" am i depressed?" but don't answer the question

Sure you could kill yourself but theres a reason you're not dead yet.

    Ok?

You're on a life mission here on this planet to learn somthing.

If you kill yourself then what? ok you're not here anymore?

what good will that do you?

    nothing...

  4. Sleeping too much or not sleeping at all are BOTH signs of depression! Are you taking an antidepressant? If you are, it doesn't sound like it is working adequately.

You should call your doctor now and tell him/her that you Sleeping too much and your antidepressant is not working since make you  sleeping. Hopefully, he/she will either increase the antidepressant or switch you to a different medication.

Hypersomnia is excessive sleepiness. It is an excessively deep or prolonged major sleep period. It may be associated with difficulty in awakening. It is believed to be caused by the central nervous system.

Hypersomnia is one of the symptoms of major depression. In fact, people who are suffering from clinical depression may suffer from either insomnia (inability to fall asleep) or hypersomnia (excessive sleep) nearly every day. Bi-polar patients may also experience hypersomnia during depressive periods.

In between the symptomatic periods, the patients have normal sleep requirements and do not have excessive daytime sleepiness. Some patients may develop symptoms of irritability, impulsive behavior, depersonalization, hallucinations, depression, and confusion.

Depression is a significant risk factor for suicidal behavior in both sexes. Women, especially those younger than 30 years of age, more often attempt suicide, whereas men more often complete the act of self-destruction. In fact, the male-to-female ratio for completed suicides is greater than 4:1, possibly because women frequently choose less lethal methods. In addition, women often attempt suicide to change the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.

If You are Having Thoughts of Suicide ?   Let someone know. Talk to a trusted family member, friend or teacher. If it is hard for you to talk directly to someone, write your thoughts down and let someone else read them.

Call your local crisis intervention or suicide prevention hotline. Look in your local phone book or call directory assistance or the operator for the number. Follow up with a visit to your doctor or local mental health center, if instructed to do so. Call 911.

  9. You're shooting yourself in the foot if you don't get exercise. Staying in bed is one of the worst things a person can do when they are depressed.

Getting exercise and getting something accomplished are things that can help. Also seeing a dr.

Please get help for this. It would be the worst kind of tragedy if you were to harm yourself when there is help out there for you.
