  1. Employees who get a one-year ban from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs can obtain a visit visa or transit visa during the ban period. However, if the Department of Immigration imposes the ban, no visa can be obtained.

Even if it's possible for you to obtain a visit visa, please be aware that it's illegal to work on a visit visa. Authorities are getting very strict on this now.

  2. Your situation is actually very simple. You have a ban and that's a fact from your side. This means that no entity (private or government) can apply an employment visa for you during your ban period. However they can hire you to work - but you will be on a visit visa and NOT on employment - which is a huge risk both for you and the employer.

If you are thinking that landing a government job will remove the ban and have the ban remove - then it's just like saying the government is above the law. Is this what you are trying to convey?

  3. If you have a labour ban I certainly wouldn't try and apply 4 a government job as you may be procecuted for trying to ignore the ban!!
