I have been to a number of licensed piercers and you are NEVER supposed to use undiluted tea tree oil. ?

Undiluted tea tree oil is way too strong for your skin (it will irritate it). Also, sea salt/water mixture is not sufficient cleansing for a piercing (especially 'tricky' ones like tragus, rook, anti-tragus, etc.)

    Sound like you know what you are talking about and if you go to a place that doesn't do it the right way walk out.  If they are doing that wrong what else is going on?

  3. undiluted tea tree can be used to put in kids hair to prevent head lice my kids have never had a problem with any irritation perhaps try putting a bit of antiseptic cream on this will help it heal quicker and prevent infection i have done this my self so i know it works

  5. The one above is correct, never tea tree oil or alcohol, but peroxide.  

  6. this isnt a question. but i think u may be right, i dont know where they get this idea but i had and industrial cartilege bar and i used the tea tree oil and sea salt soaks and it irritated my ear often getting infected and it never healed in 7months, my friend only used hydrogen peroxide and hers healed completely
