I have been trying my wedding dress on every week, and dancing in it in my living room? It that normal?

I get married in a few weeks and occasionally when my fiance is out of the house, I will slip on my wedding dress and dance in it. Has anyone else done that?

That is totally normal. I would hide in my closet and put my dress on every day just for a few minutes. I was scared that on the big day it wouldn't fit (or at least that was my excuse)

I didn't.  The only times I wore my wedding dress before my wedding day was when I first tried on the dress at the bridal shop and when I put in on before my fitting so the seamstress could figure out where she needed to take it in and then once she was done with alterations to make sure it fit well.  So I only wore my dress three times before my wedding.

I was too afraid of getting it dirty, plus mine was nearly impossible to put on by myself.

I don't know if my bride-to-be ever did that, but if she did, I think that would be all right. To me, it is a sign that she is looking forward to marrying me. I would probably dance with her in my tux!

I have!  Definitely think its normal.  Just make sure you are careful... I don't go outside my bedroom because I really don't want to get anything on it.

I did, and accidentally got a stain on it.  So I had to rush it down to the drycleaners, and luckily it came out.  So I put it up and didn't pull it back out until the big day.  It's fun, but be careful!!

Haha. I think it's cute and there is nothing wrong with that. I pick up mine tomorrow and will probably do the same thing!

lol I think it's fantastic!  Most people only wear theirs for a day, now your memories of your wedding, gown, planning and process will be that much better!

I can't say I've done that yet, I'm just going dress shopping for the first time on Saturday.  But now that you mention it I think I might make a point of trying it on and dancing in the dress now and then (once I find it!)

well i haven't done that...but it is way normal! lots of girls do that. its not normal if you don't. every girl trys it on at least once before her wedding day...and i mean not in a fitting but in private. its totally normal!
