I have been trying to join several Yohoo groupswith no success. Why can't I?

hard to say. are you still pending membership approval? do you get an error message?

It might be that your memberships are still pending moderator's approvals.  You can check to see if this is the case by going to your groups list  http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

This will list all the groups where you are a member and those you have subscribed to but not yet approved for membership.

You will see "Membership Pending" right above the group names.  If you see those, you will know that you will be hearing from Yahoo and the group moderators via email when you are accepted or rejected.
