Yes. Indian passport site is changed. Try this site: http://india.gov.in/overseas/passport.ph...  and http://passport.nic.in/

I have been trying for 2 days and same thing. No response.

These dumbsh**s running these sites don't even have a clue about setting up an out of service or information page.

What a bunch of amateurs. Even when it works it shows an invalid certificate and is blocked by both IE and FF. Great way to inspire security and confidence in people applying for thier PASSPORT of all things.

And to think that this is NATIONAL site of the country and only place for overseas people to apply and renew Indian passports. And o the site hasn't changed, all national links point to the same address that OP said.

because there is no such website. it is www.passport.nic.in

www.passport.gov.in is not avilable now,since their sever is not active now.When it is active then you can access the website.
