never used the tests but i did find that when u say ok im not trying anymore and find something else to have your full attention on is when it normally happens .. and for some couples it takes 1-2 years  the very best luck to you

TTC for 11 months here...used the monitor for 6 months with no luck.  We have officially given up for a few months to take a much needed break...My friend got preggo the first month using it though..she had been trying for 7 months.

OPK's are really effective and accurate. Best way to do it take the test 3 months and if it says positive at the same time or around the same time, have s*x within those days every other day.  BBT is not very accurate as once you see the rise in temp, ovulation has already occurred.  I know plenty of ppl who used OPK's with success in the first 4 months.
