  1. Most people will feel or be depressed at some point in their lives. Try natural remedies first- like St. John's Wort. That might help a little. Then have some time for yourself. Read the Bible or any religious book. Get your nails done or get a massage. Call and talk to an old friend for a while. Drink some tea. Have a glass of wine. Wash your hair in a good smelling shampoo and let it dry outside. Also exercise, that has been proven to help depression.

  2. Shrink! Shrink!!

  3. get drunk and go dancing. you will see the value in life again ;)

  4. Ok firstly, i would recommend attending some Yoga classes or learning how to cope with your stress using breathing techniques and affirmations. But, having said that, i would also recommend seeing a psychiatrist (no, im not saying that your a mental case lol) because they can help you create steps in dealing and confronting your stressful issues. Its best to get on top of your stress as soon as possible before you get health issues (high blood pressure, heart palpitations etc) and as a short term preventative measure, i strongly recommend a hot bubble bath and chocolate lol....

good luck, dont stress, everything will be ok

  5. go to a nice holiday enjoy ur life by the beach and dance all night to have this happiness moment to cheer up up

  6. Surround yourself with positive people.  Get out and go for a walk as physical activity is a mood booster.  Set goals for yourself so you feel like you are accomplishing things.  Make sure you can see something you have done each day.  Keep a journal to put your feelings in.  You don't ever have to show your journal to anyone but from time to time it will boost your spirit to review it and see what progress you have made.

  7. take a cruise on a ship to some kickass island

  8. Drink a pint of Vodka at dinner and wake up to Valium. It works for me.

Seriously, try exercising. A good workout will take your mind off things, it also releases natural stimulants in the brain called endorphins and serotonin. These chemicals will give you an emotional high without the use of synthetic stimulants.

You don't have to kill yourself in the process of working out. Find something that you enjoy like jogging through the park. there is a 20 mile bike path by my home that I like to ride 10 miles every other day, In between I swim in the ocean about 3-4 miles. Trust me it works and will give you not only a mental boost but a physical one as well.

  9. Being depressed is nothing to be ashamed of. If you are experiencing signs of it then your doctor can help. They will explain different ways which you can help yourself

  10. 1 thing I would abolutley urge you to do

    Some suggestions

    --------------------------------------...

Take a long walk it really does work you feel energised

and a sense of well being.

light some candles and insence around the bath

and have a nice relaxing bath

    go for a massage

    meditate

go to the gym work that stress right out of your body

it might seem counter intuitive but it will actually

make you more lively and less tired

Its ok to be depressed sometimes thats part of life

just dont get stuck on it for too long

the book I reccomended should teach you how to direct

your thoughts so you think about something else

the only reason that your depressed is you keep

thinking about it and reinforcing the problem

    hope this helps some
