I have been using utorrent forever and now im at a college and my downloads wont go ?

i know my ports are not forwarded but how do i forward ports when I'm hard-lined to the computer and on a school network anyone have any idea?

They might have blocked the port you use to use.

You need to change your port. Try port 80 they need to keep that opened for the internet.

More often than not you will not be able to use torrents using university LAN. You can't access the university hub so you can't open the ports. The only way to access torrents in university is to use wireless internet and access the wireless network of the router. The ports for wireless are usually always open which lets you download what you want off torrents. You can also look into newsgroups of your university and make sort of a 'local' torrent off of everyones computers at your university.
