  1. it builds muscle and keeps you healthy

  2. I was a vegetarian for a while, too. I had to ease back into eating meat. Sudden ingestion of rich or fatty foots can make you very sick.

If you're starting to eat meat again, here's some advice: go slowly, and carefully. Cut all the fat off the meats, and eat only a little bit at a time. If you're intent on eating lamb (one of my favorites, by the way!) make sure that you only eat the center of the cut.

Up to now, your body has been making energy (which is usually taken from fat) from sugars and via direct conversion from your foods. A sudden appearance of fatty tissue will "confuse" your digestive system, and it could actually revolt! I learned that the hard way after eating a platter of chili-cheese french fries after three years of vegetairanism, and promptly vomited!

Go slow, and your body will thank you.

Welcome back to the meat-eating world!

  3. When I began to eat meat again after being a long time vegetarian, lamb was one of the first things I ate. I had no adverse reactions. We are omnivores, after all. People around the world eat practically anything, from grubs to seaweed to truffles!

  4. It could. Red meat is a bit harder to digest than white meat, but you shouldn't fall ill from it.

  5. oh yes it will. >_<

  6. Lamb is fattier than chicken, so its a possibility.  I would recommend cooking it in the crock pot to be a little more gentle on your tummy.

  7. probably, when I went to boot camp I didn't eat McDonalds for like 2 months then when I got out I ate some and threw it up

  8. I really don't think it will. I've been a vegetarian for about 24yrs. I just grew up not liking the texture of meat. Now I eat chicken and I try bites of different meat here and there and my tummy's been fine. I've noticed the difference in my muscles from finally eating meat. They are much stronger.
