  1. No reputable shop will do a tattoo when you are pregnant. Your babies health comes first. If you have wanted it done for ages what is a couple more months?

  2. There is always a risk when anyone pushes a needle into you.  infection is possible.

    When considering things from now until the birth,  it is no long you. Its now us.   Us is the result of falling pregnant.   Now your responsible for two lives.

    As you have traveled this far through life with out one,  whats a few more months when it removes just one more infection risk from this little new babies life.

    Do it later:::::::::

  3. Its not advised, as your immune system is already stretched... more of a risk of infection, of baby and the tattoo. Not a great amount, but its still there.

    Just wait until after the baby =]

    Nearly all tattoo artists won't tattoo if you are noticabely pregnant, and fairly heavily. Although some won't at all, its just generally not worth the risk.

  4. NO!! you can get a blood infection, very easily and it will affect your baby, not to mention because your skin is stretched, once it goes back into place, it'll look awful. (depending on where you have it done)

  5. As a tattoo artist and manager of three shops, th definite answer is no. Most tattoo inks including the organic inks contain ingredients that are harmful to your baby.In my shops we won't work on a woman if she even suspects she may be pregnant. The risks are too great.

  6. Technically there is nothing wrong with getting a safe and clean tattoo while you're pregnant. The difficult part is finding a tattoo artist who would be willing to tattoo a pregnant woman. The reason why many refuse to tattoo a pregnant woman is because they do not want to be liable for any unexpected reactions your body might have, such as going into shock. Additionally, while being pregnant doesn't increase your chance of infections, it is still possible to run into tattoo healing problems a long the way. An infection from the tattoo would indeed be dangerous for the fetus since a lot of tattoo infections are through the blood.

    If you want a tattoo, you are going to have to wait until you're no longer pregnant or breastfeeding.

  7. No you can not. i asked the same question at a tattoo parlor and they said no because it could cause infection to the baby and you and it puts the baby into stress and could cause you to go into premature labor or have a miscarriage.

  8. no my wife just found out she was too and i talked to my buddy who owns a shop in town and he said no I'm not sure why i think it has to do with infection

  9. you cant especially if its on your stomach because it will stretch with your pregnancy and be messed up forever!!!i say wait till your not pregnant!
