I have been wearing contacts for 6 years but all of the sudden this summer one of my eyes always gets red after I wear then. Other then the redness there is no discomfort. What's going on?

  1. There may be some bacteria on thatone contact. I that is the case, your blood vessels are dialating to allow WBC to enter the area to kill it off. It could also be common irritation from the contact use over time. It may be time to change contact brands.


  2. I also wear contacts, and sometimes my eyes get red because I might have been rubbing them, the contacts are in the wrong place, or I didn't clean them well enough. If it doesn't go away, ask your eye doctor for daily contacts, you can just take them out every day and throw them away, you don't have to clean them. You get a new pair every day. They are really nice. They may seem expensive, but you save a lot of money on not having to by solution.
