I have been working for a company for 7 month got my first review but no raise is this normal

i just got a review but no raise is that normal in logistics ???

  1. The company policy should be listed in your employee handbook.  I worked for a company where raises where given on a year anniversary and not any other time.  Still have questions, call HR


  2. I agree with the first poster, that you need to check the company policy on when raises are given.  Also, being given a raise after 7 months might be early.  It should happen at least every year but I wouldn't expect it before a year has passed (but check the policy).

    Beyond that, however, hows the company doing?  If they are struggling then maybe very few people are getting raises (maybe nobody), so maybe its just a sign of the times.  Also, how was the review - was it good or just mediocre.  If it wasn't good (mediocre or worse) maybe this is management telling you they don't think your work merited a raise (but don't get worried here, its not clear from what you've said whether this is the problem or not).

    So, there are lots of possiblities - go chck these all out.
