I have been working out every day for about 2 weeks now, and i have been eating less then what i usually eat, all very healthy food. I look as if i have lost weight, as in it shows on me and the people around me have been telling me i have lost weight.

I weighed myself before i started losing weight and i was 75 kg I'm ( 1m78cm) and i have weighed myself 2 weeks later expecting weight loss on the scale and the scale says im 78 kg, however i did just get my period which could explain why i put on temporary weight, but is this normal???

  1. I think that is very clear that you have lost fat but gained muscle from working out. Since muscle weighs more than fat, that's the reason you have gained.

If people are telling you that you look better, and you see it as well, it should not matter what the scale says.

  2. More than likely you look like you have lost weight but dont see it on the scale because you have burned fat and gained muscle which is heavier than fat so maybe you took off pounds of fat around the waist and put muscle on your legs. And yes its normal when your entire body is toned you might start loosing weight. Cut back on the exercise and slow it down a bit and try doing fat burn instead of cardio which is a lower heart rate exercise.

  3. I am 5lbs heavier three days before my period and until ends.
