I have just relized this. I was so scared when I saw that. What does that mean? And I know I'm not going insane. My entire eye color was black. Not the white part of the eye of course.

Please, someone tell me what this is. I'm so scared and confused and worried!

  1. Normal.  Mine go from gold to brown to green.  Some people eyes change and some don't.

  2. Eyes are organs of vision that detect light. Different kinds of light-sensitive organs are found in a variety of organisms. The simplest eyes do nothing but detect whether the surroundings are light or dark, while more complex eyes can distinguish shapes and colors. The visual fields of some such complex eyes largely overlap, to allow better depth perception (binocular vision), as in humans; and others are placed so as to minimize the overlap, such as in rabbits and chameleons.

  3. Don't be afraid. Your eyes are just very dark brown and at night they appear to be black. both of my sons have eyes like this and it is nothing to be scared of.

  4. Maybe your boyfriend is beating you while you are asleep.

  5. you mean they turn really light brown or they only look brown in the sunlight? Cuz most eyes are like that, at night it would look black cuz its dark but in the sun its lighter..

  6. If you spend a lot of time out in the sun during the day, it will make your iris color darker in the evening or at night.

See your eye Dr.  He/She should be able to presecribed or recommend eyedrops so your eyes won't change and to calm your nerves.

  7. Your pupils dilate in dark conditions to allow in more light.  Also, the brown you see in the daytime is lightened by the sunlight.  What's there to be afraid of anyway?

  8. In the dark or nightime, your eyes dilate to absorb as much light as possible. Hence your iris, which has color pigments, are obscured by your pupils and appear black. During daytime, your pupils contract and your iris is more appararent.

  9. Your pupils are dilating. That's all there is to it.See an Ophthalmologist.

  10. artificial light often  darkens the iris  it is an illusion

whereas sunlight (natural light) gives the true impression of a persons eyes

nothing to be scared or worried about
